Renee is a Wealth Advisor and Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Private Bank. She has over 25 years of experience in Financial Services, including estate and financial planning for both domestic and cross-border clients. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she was the Premier International Wealth Management Consultant for HSBC Bank, N.A. Prior to joining HSBC, Renee was an independent financial planner for over 15 years and specialized in holistic planning for her business owner clients. Renee has been working with high net worth individuals advising them on how to pass their wealth to younger generations in the most efficient manner possible. She also has been working with business owners, advising on financial, income, estate, and succession issues and has helped to design and implement efficient tax and transfer solutions for clients with net worth from $1 million to $100 million. Renee is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Fredonia with a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and holds an MBA from Queens University of Charlotte. She also received her LLM in International Taxation and Wealth Management, magna cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and holds a JD from the University at Buffalo School of Law. In addition, Renee is admitted to the New York State Bar.
Tefera has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of management, accounting, finance, and taxation. Most of his tax accounting experience, primarily in the area of sophisticated financial instruments, he gained from his tenure with the State of Illinois Department of Revenue and with the IRS Financial Products Specialists division. Dr. Beyene teaches accounting, finance, and economics courses as an adjunct Professor for several universities. In addition, he is the Chief International Resource Trainer, Examiner, and Nominator for Africa and North America for the American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM), providing training in all areas of finance, accounting, and economics. Dr. Beyene earned his PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences concentrating in Accounting and he also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a double concentration in Accounting and Finance. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of Illinois, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia (Washington, DC). Tefera's credentials include the AAFM Certified Chartered Economist and Chartered Wealth Management certifications, as well as the Credit Business Associate certification from the National Association of Credit Management (NACM).
